(கொஞ்ச நாட்களாகவே எல்லாம் லேட்டாகவே செய்து முடிக்கிறேன். Too many things in my plate and probably filled my mouth with more than I could chew. ரேடியோ ப்ரோக்ராம், சிலிக்கன் ஷெல்ஃப் இலக்கிய வட்டம், கோடை விடுமுறை பயணங்கள், இந்தியப் பயணம் புறப்பாடு, மற்றும் பல விஷயங்கள். இவற்றில் அபிமான திரைப்படங்களில் நடித்த ரவிச்சந்திரன் மறைந்ததை குறித்து சரியாக ட்ரிப்யூட்ஸ் கொடுக்கத் தவறிவிட்டோம். அதற்க்காக வருந்துகிறோம். மேலும் ரவிச்சந்திரன் காலமானதற்க்காக மிகவும் வருந்துகிறோம். இங்கே விமல், சாரதா கொடுத்த தகவல்களை தனியாக இடுகிறேன். நன்றி விமல் மற்றும் சாரதா)

வெள்ளிவிழா நாயகன் என்று அழைக்கப்பட்ட நடிகர் ரவிச்சந்திரன் (71) உடல்நலக்குறைவு காரணமாக நேற்று (25-07-11) இரவு காலமானார். அவரது உடல் பொதுமக்கள் அஞ்சலிக்காக சென்னை தி.நகரில் உள்ள சாய் மகால் திருமண மண்டபத்தில் வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. ஏராளமான பொதுமக்களும், திரையுலக பிரமுகர்களும், அரசியல்புள்ளிகளும் ரவிச்சந்திரன் உடலுக்கு இறுதி அஞ்சலி செலுத்தி வருகிறார்கள். இன்று மாலை ரவிச்சந்திரன் உடல் பெசன்ட் நகர் மின்மயானத்தில் தகனம் செய்யப்படுகிறது.

டைரக்டர் ஸ்ரீதரால் காதலிக்கநேரமில்லை என்ற படத்தில் கதாநாயகனாக அறிமுகம் ஆனவர் ரவிச்சந்திரன்.

உள்பட 300க்கும் மேற்பட்ட படங்களில் நடித்து இருந்தார்.
இவர் கடைசியாக நடித்த படம் ஆடுபுலி.
அந்த படத்தில் இவருக்கு ஜோடியாக கே.ஆர்.விஜயா நடித்திருந்தார். வெள்ளிவிழா கதாநாயகன் என்று அழைக்கப்பட்ட ரவிச்சந்திரன் வில்லன் மற்றும் குணச்சித்திர கதாபாத்திரங்களிலும் நடித்திருந்தார். ஊமை விழிகள் படத்தில் இவருடைய வில்லன் கதாபாத்திரம் பரபரப்பாக பேசப்பட்டது.

மறைந்த நடிகர் ரவிச்சந்திரனின் இயற்பெயர் ராமன்.
திருச்சியை சேர்ந்த அவர், சினிமா மீதான ஆர்வத்தால் சென்னைக்கு வந்தார். ஒளிப்பதிவாளர் பி.என்.சுந்தரம் மூலம் டைரக்டர் ஸ்ரீதருக்கு அறிமுகமானார்.
1965ம் ஆண்டு காதலிக்கநேரமில்லை என்ற படத்தில் இவரை கதாநாயகனாக அறிமுகம் செய்தார் டைரக்டர் ஸ்ரீதர். அத்துடன் தனது சொந்த படநிறுவனமான சித்ராலாயாவுக்காக 2 வருடத்திற்கு ரவிச்சந்திரனை மாதம் ரூ.500 சம்பளம் பேசி ஒப்பந்தம் செய்தார். முதல் படத்திலேயே நட்சத்திர அந்தஸ்து பெற்றாலும், வாய்ப்பு கொடுத்த ஸ்ரீதருக்காக தொடர்ந்து 2 ஆண்டுகள் சித்ராலயா நிறுவனத்துக்காக நடித்துக் கொடுத்தார்.

அதன் பின்னர் சித்ராலாயா நிறுவனத்தில் இருந்து விலகி மற்ற கம்பெனி படங்களில் நடிக்க ஆரம்பித்தார். படிப்படியாக உயர்ந்து வெள்ளிவிழா கதாநாயகனானார். நடிப்பு, நடனம், சண்டைக் காட்சி ஆகியவற்றில் படத்துக்குப் படம் வித்தியாசம் காட்டி ரசிகர்களைக் கவர்ந்தார். 1960களில் தமிழ் சினிமாவின் ரொமான்டிக் ஹீரோவாக வலம் வந்த ரவிச்சந்திரனுக்கு ரசிகர்களை விட ரசிகைகளின் எண்ணிக்கைதான் அதிகம்.

ஒரு காலகட்டத்தில் ஆண்டுக்கு பத்து படங்கள் வரை நடித்த ரவிச்சந்திரனுக்கு, அனைத்தும் வெற்றிப்படமாக அமைந்ததால் தயாரிப்பாளர்களின் நம்பிக்கை நட்சத்திரமாகவும் இருந்தார். தமிழைத் தவிர மலையாளம், கன்னடம் ஆகிய மொழிகளிலும் நடித்துள்ளார். ரவிச்சந்திரனின் படங்களில் இடம்பெறும் அனைத்தும் ஹிட் ஆகிவிடுவதால் ரசிகர்களிடையே பிரபலமாக காணப்பட்டார்.

ஹீரோ வாய்ப்புகள் குறைந்த பிறகு, சிறிது காலம் நடிப்பு துறையிலிருந்து விலகியிருந்த ரவிச்சந்திரன் ஆபாவாணனின், ஊமை விழிகள் மூலம் மீண்டும் நடிகரானார். அதன் பிறகு ஏராளமான படங்களில் வில்லன், குணச்சித்திர நடிகர் என பல்வேறு தளங்களில் முத்திரை பதித்தார்.

ரவிச்சந்திரன், மானசீக காதல், மந்திரன் உள்ளிட்ட படங்களை இயக்கியுள்ளார். கன்னடத்திலும் இரண்டு படங்களை இயக்கியிருக்கிறார். தங்கம் விலை பவுன் ரூ.75 ஆக இருந்த காலத்திலேயே மாதச்சம்பளமாக ரூ.1000 பெற்றவர் ரவிச்சந்திரன் என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது. தமிழக முதல்வர் ஜெயலலிதாவுடன் அதிக படங்களில் நடித்திருக்கும் அவர், எம்.ஜி.ஆர்., சிவாஜிக்கு இணையாக பல வெற்றிப்படங்களை கொடுத்தவர் என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

முன்னணி நாயகனாக வலம்வந்த நடிகர் ரவிச்சந்திரன் வாய்ப்புகள் இல்லாத காலத்தில், வாய்ப்புக்காக யாரிடமும் போய் நின்றதில்லை. விவசாயத்தின் மீது அதிக ஈடுபாடு கொண்டிருந்த அவர், சென்னை செயின்ட் தாமஸ் மவுண்ட் அருகில் இருக்கும் அவருடைய நிலத்தில் அமைதியாக விவசாயம் செய்து கொண்டிருந்தார் என்பது கூடுதல் தகவல.

மறைந்த நடிகர் ரவிச்சந்திரனுக்கு விமலா என்ற மனைவியும், பாலாஜி, அம்சவரதன் என்ற 2 மகன்களும், லாவண்யா என்ற மகளும் இருக்கிறார்கள். இவர்களில் அம்சவரதன் சில படங்களில் கதாநாயகனாக நடித்து இருக்கிறார்.

நடிகர் ரவிச்சந்திரன் நேற்று மரணம் அடைந்தார். அவருக்கு வயது 71. கடந்த சில ஆண்டுகளாக சர்க்கரை நோயால் அவதிப்பட்டு வந்தார். கடந்த 8 மாதங்களுக்கு முன்பு அவரது சிறுநீரகம் பாதிக்கப்பட்டது. இதைத் தொடர்ந்து டயாலிசிஸ் செய்து வந்தார். கடந்த 17&ம் தேதி அவரது நுரையீரலும் பாதிக்கப்பட்டதை தொடர்ந்து தனியார் மருத்துவமனையில் அனுமதிக்கப்பட்டார். அங்கு அவருக்கு டாக்டர்கள் தீவிர சிகிச்சை அளித்தனர். ஆனால் அதில் எந்த முன்னேற்றமும் ஏற்படாமல் கோமா நிலையை அடைந்தார். இந்த நிலையில் நேற்று இரவு 9 மணிக்கு அவரது உயிர் பிரிந்தது. அவரது உடல் தி.நகரில் உள்ள அவரது வீட்டில் பொதுமக்கள் பார்வைக்காக வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

திரையுலக பிரமுகர்கள் இறுதி அஞ்சலி செலுத்தி வருகிறார்கள். இன்று மாலை பெசன்ட் நகர் மயானத்தில் இறுதி சடங்குகள் நடக்கிறது. மறைந்த நடிகர் ரவிசந்திரனின் பூர்வீகம் கரூர் அருகே உள்ள வாங்கல் கிராமம். ஆனால் அவரது குடும்பம் மலேசியாவில் வசித்தது. ரவிச்சந்திரனின் தந்தை பைரோஜி சீனிவாசன். மலேசியாவில் ‘தமிழ் நேசன்’ என்ற பத்திரிகையில் ஆசிரியராக இருந்தார்

கோலாலம்பூர் தமிழ் சங்கம் நடத்திய பள்ளியில் படித்தார். மலேசிய தமிழ் மாணவர்களில் முதல் மாணவராக தேர்வு பெற்ற ரவிச்சந்திரன், மருத்துவம் படிக்க விரும்பி இந்தியா வந்தார். திருச்சி புனித ஜோசப் கல்லூரியில் பட்டப்படிப்பை முடித்தார். சென்னையில் மருத்துவ படிப்பு படிக்க வந்தபோது இயக்குனர் ஸ்ரீதருக்கு அறிமுகமானார். அதன் மூலம் 1964ம் ஆண்டு ‘காதலிக்க நேரமில்லை‘ படத்தின் மூலம் கதாநாயகனானார்.

முதல் ஈஸ்ட்மேன் கலர்பட கதாநாயகன்:

பழம்பெரும் கதாநாயகன் ரவிச்சந்திரன் சென்னையில் நேற்று மரணம் அடைந்தார். அவருக்கு வயது 71.

1960 மற்றும் 70களில் தமிழ் திரையுலகில் முன்னணி கதாநாயகனாக வலம் வந்தார்.

எம்.ஜி.ஆர்., சிவாஜி கூட்டணிக்கு இணையாக வளர்ந்தவர்கள் ரவிச்சந்திரன், ஜெய்சங்கர்.

சுறுசுறுப்பான நடிப்பு, நடனம், சண்டை, கணீர் குரல், ஸ்டைலில் ரசிகர்களை கவர்ந்தார்.

ரவிச்சந்திரன். வெள்ளி விழா நாயகன், சின்ன எம்.ஜி.ஆர்., கலை நிலவு, கலையுலக இளவரசர், கலைஞர் திலகம், புரட்சி கலைஞர் போன்ற பட்டங்கள் பெற்றவர்.

இவரது இயர்பெயர் ராமன். சொந்த ஊர் கரூர் அருகில் உள்ள வாங்கல்.

சீனிவாசன்-லட்சுமி தம்பதிக்கு பிறந்த இவர் மலேசியாவில் குடியேறி வாழ்ந்தார்.

1964-ல் காதலிக்க நேரமில்லை படத்தில் நடிக்க வாய்ப்பளித்த போது ஸ்ரீதர் இவருக்கு ராமன் என்ற பெயரை ரவிச்சந்திரன் என மாற்றினார். இரண்டு வருட ஒப்பந்தத்தில் மாதம் ரூ. 500 பிறகு ரூ. 750 என சம்பளம் வாங்கினார். அப்போது ஒரு பவுன் தங்கம் விலை 75 ரூபாய்தான். சில வருடங்களுக்கு பின் மாத சம்பளத்தை ரூ. 1000 ஆக உயர்த்தினார். இயக்குனர் ஸ்ரீதர் முன் நின்று பேச பெரிய நடிகர்களே தயங்கிய சமயத்தில் முதல் சந்திப்பிலேயே தைரியமாகவும் ஸ்டைலாகவும் பேசி கவர்ந்தார்.

தமிழ் சினிமாவின் முதல் ஈஸ்ட்மேன் கலர் படமான காதலிக்க நேரமில்லை படத்தில் அறிமுகம் ஆனார். இவருடன் முத்துராமன், ராஜஸ்ரீ, சச்சு, பாலையா, நாகேஷ் போன்றோர் இணைந்து நடித்தனர். இப்படத்தில் வரும் விஸ்வநாதன் வேலை வேண்டும் பாடல் பட்டி தொட்டியெங்கும் பிரபலம். படம் 25 வாரங்கள் ஓடி வெள்ளி விழா கண்டது. பிறகு கே.ஆர்.விஜயாவுடன் நடித்த இதயகமலம் படம் வெற்றி கண்டது. அதில் வரும் நீ போகும் இடமெல்லாம் நானும் வருவேன் போபோ போ, உன்னை காணத கண்ணும் கண்ணல்ல பாடல்கள் ரசிகர்களின் நாடிநரம்புகளில் ஊடுருவியது.

அதே கண்கள் திகில் படத்திலும் கலக்கினார். நான், குமரி பெண், பாக்தாத் பேரழகி, மோட்டார்சுந்தரம் பிள்ளை, மகராசி உள்பட 15 படங்களில் இப்போதைய முதல்வர் ஜெயலலிதாவுடன் ஜோடியாக நடித்தார். இவர்கள் கூட்டணியில் இடம் பெற்ற படங்களின் பாடல்கள் பிரபலம். பாக்தாத் பேரழகி படத்தில் நிஜமான சிங்கத்துடன் நடிக்க வேண்டியதாயிற்று. ரவிச்சந்திரன் பயந்தார். அவருக்கு தைரியம் சொல்லி ஜெயலலிதா சிங்கத்தின் அருகில் சென்று பழகி காட்டினார்.

அப்போது ஜெயலலிதாவின் தைரியத்தை கண்டு வியந்தார். திரையுலகில் கத்திச் சண்டை, குதிரை சவாரி போன்ற சாகசங்கள் தெரிந்தவர் விஜயபுரி வீரன் சி.எல்.ஆனந்தன். அவருடன் குதிரை சவாரி செய்து கல்யாண மண்டபம் என்ற படத்தில் நடித்தார்.

திரையுலகில் பாட்டு பாடி, சண்டை போட்ட நாயகன் ரவிச்சந்திரன் எங்க பாப்பா படத்தில் நான் பாட்டால் அடிப்பேன் ஓடி என்று பாடிக்கொண்டே சவுக்கால் அடிப்பார். நான் படத்தில் காரிலும், குமரிப்பெண் படத்தில் சைக்கிளிலும், மதராஸ் டூ பாண்டிச்சேரி படத்தில் பஸ்சிலும், காதல் ஜோடி படத்தில் மாட்டு வண்டியிலும் பாடல்களை பாடி நடித்துள்ளார்.

ஸ்ரீதர், டி.ஆர்.கோ பண்ணா, கே.ஆர்.பாலன், ஏ.வி.எம். போன்ற பிரபலங்கள் முதல் அண்ணா, கலைஞர் கருணாநிதி வரை எல்லா முன்னணி இயக்குனர்கள், தயாரிப்பாளர்கள் மற்றும் நிறுவனங்களின் படங்களை பண்ணிய பெருமை இவருக்கு உண்டு.

ரவிச்சந்திரனின் அழகு, ஸ்டைல் அப்போதைய இளம்பெண்களை கவர்ந்தது. ரவிச்சந்திரன் வாழ்கையை சினிமா எடிட்டரும், எழுத்தாளருமான டி.எஸ்.ஆர்.சுபாஷ் டாகுமெண்டரி படமாக எடுக்கிறார். 5 மலையாள படங்களில் ரவிச்சந்திரன் நடித்தார். அப்போது உடன் நடித்த மலையாள நடிகை ஷீலாவுடன் காதல் மலர்ந்தது. இருவரும் திருமணம் செய்து கொண்டனர்.

இவர்களின் ஒரே மகன் விஷ்ணு. பிறகு விவாகரத்து செய்து ரவிச்சந்திரனும், ஷீலாவும் பிரிந்தனர். பல ஆண்டுகளுக்கு பிறகு ரவிச்சந்திரன் சுய நினைவின்றி ஆஸ்பத்திரியில் அனுமதிக்கப்பட்டிருந்த போது மகன் விஷ்ணு கேரளாவில் இருந்து வந்து பார்த்து விட்டு சென்றார்.

ரவிச்சந்திரன் 2-வதாக விமலா என்பவரை மணந்தார். இவர்களுக்கு லாவண்யா என்ற மகளும், பாலாஜி, அம்சவர்த்தன் என்ற மகன்களும் உள்ளனர். அம்சவர்த்தன் சினிமாவில் நடிக்கிறார். ரவிச்சந்திரன் உடல் பொதுமக்கள் அஞ்சலிக்காக தியாகராய நகரில் உள்ள வீட்டில் வைக்கப்பட்டு உள்ளது. தி.மு.க. சட்டமன்ற கட்சி தலைவர் மு.க.ஸ்டாலின் நேரில் அஞ்சலி செலுத்தினார்.

நடிகர் சிவகுமார், நடிகர் சங்கம் சார்பில் மனோரமா, விஜயகுமார், வாகை சந்திரசேகர் மற்றும் டைரக்டர் டி.பி.கஜேந்திரன், தயாரிப்பாளர் ஜெயந்தி கண்ணப்பன், ஒய்.ஜி. மகேந்திரன், நிழல்கள் ரவி, எடிட்டர் சுபாஷ் உள்ளிட்ட பலர் அஞ்சலி செலுத்தினார்கள். இன்று மாலை இறுதி சடங்கு நடக்கிறது.

ரவிச்சந்திரன் உடல் தகனம்

நேற்று முன்தினம் உடல்நலக்குறைவால் காலமான ரவிச்சந்திரனின் உடல் நேற்று மாலை ஊர்வலமாக எடுத்துச்செல்லப்பட்டு சென்னை பெஸன்ட் நகர் மின்சார மயானத்தில் தகனம் செய்யப்பட்டது. ஊர்வலத்தில் சில திரையுலக நட்சத்திரங்களும், ரசிகர்களும் கலந்துகொண்டனர். அவர் உடல், வீட்டிலிருந்து எடுத்துச்செல்லப்பட்டபோது அவரது மனைவியும், உறவினர்களும் கதறி அழுதது நெஞ்சை நெகிழ வைப்பதாக இருந்தது.

அவரது மகன் நடிகர் அம்சவிருத்தன் தொலைக்காட்சியில் பேசும்போது, “அப்பா இறந்து விட்டதாக நாங்கள் நினைக்கவில்லை. அவர் இப்போதும் எங்களுடன்தான் இருக்கிறார். எப்போதும் இருப்பார். எங்கள் இதயங்களிலும் ரசிகர்களின் இதயங்களிலும் அவர் என்றும் நிலைத்திருப்பார்” என்று கூறினார்.

முன்னதாக நடிகர்கள் சிவகுமார், விஜயகுமார், சந்திரசேகர், (சங்கர்) கணேஷ் உள்ளிட்ட ஏராளமான திரையுலகினர் ரவிச்சந்திரன் வீட்டுக்கு வந்து இறுதி அஞ்சலி செலுத்தினர். ரவிச்சந்திரனின் முதல் திரைப்பட ஜோடியான திருமதி ராஜஸ்ரீ, ரவிச்சந்திரனின் உடலைப்பார்த்து கண்ணீர் விட்டு அழுதார்.

ரவியுடன் பல வெற்றிப்படங்களில் நடித்தவரும், தமிழ்நாடு முதலமைச்சருமான செல்வி ஜெயலலிதா இரங்கல் தெரிவித்து செய்தி வெளியிட்டிருந்தார். தி.மு.க. தலைவர் கலைஞர் கருணாநிதி சார்பில் முன்னாள் துணை முதல்வர் திரு மு.க.ஸ்டாலின் நேரில் வந்து ரவிச்சந்திரன் உடலுக்கு மலர்மாலை வைத்து அஞ்சலி செலுத்தினார்.

தெய்வத்திருமகள்

நடிப்பு: விக்ரம், அனுஷ்கா ஷெட்டி, அமலா பால், பேபி சாரா, நாசர், சந்தானம், எம்.எஸ்.பாஸ்கர் மற்றும் பலர்.

மனதில் ஆறுவயது நிறம்பிய, மனவளர்ச்சி குன்றிய ஒரு மனிதனின் மனைவி குழந்தையை பெற்றுக்கொடுத்துவிட்டு இறந்து விட, அக்குழந்தையை வளர்க்க அவர் படும் கஷ்டங்களும், அதே நேரத்தில் அக்குழந்தையின் அன்பினால் நிறப்பப்பட்ட அவனது வாழ்க்கையில் நடக்கும் ஒரு திருப்பத்தை, அவன் கதாநாயகியுடைய உதவியினால் எப்படி அடைகிறான், என்பதையும் கூறும் காவியம்.

படம் என்னவோ நன்றாகத்தான் இருக்கிறது. இப்படம் “I am sam” என்ற ஆங்கிலப் படத்தின் தமிழாக்கம் என்றாலும், இயக்குனர் விஜயின் முயற்சி பாரட்டப்படவேண்டும். வித்தியாசமான படங்களை கொடுக்கவேண்டும் என்ற எண்ணம் அவரிடம் இருப்பது தமிழ் திரைக்கு நல்லது. விக்ரம் நடிப்பில் பின்னி பெடல் எடுத்துள்ளார். மனைவி இறந்த்து கூட தெரியாமல், குழந்தை போல் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளும்போதும், குழந்தையின் பிரிவை தாங்கமுடியாமல் ஏங்குவதும், கடைசியில் நீதிமன்றத்தில் குழந்தையுடன் பேசும் சந்தேக மொழியிலும் நடிப்பில் தங்கத்தின் விலை போல் எகிறுகிறார்.

அனுஷ்காவை – “இப்படத்தில் உனக்கு வேலையே மற்றபடம் போல் இல்லை” என்று சொல்லி ஒப்பந்தப் படுத்தியிருப்பார் போல இயக்குனர். எதார்த்தமான நடிப்பில் மிளிர்கிறார். தமிழ் படத்துக்கே உரிய சாபக்கேடு போல், கதாநாயகனோடு ஒரு கற்பனைப்பாட்டை பாடி கதையின் ஓட்டத்தை தடுக்கிறார். அதெப்படி, யதார்த்தமாக நாயகன், அதுவும் மனநலம் குன்றியவர், பயத்தில் அவரை அணைத்துக்கொள்ளும்போது இவரக்கு பாடல் வருகிறது? இக்காட்சி வரும்போது இயக்குனர் பக்கத்து கடைக்கு டீ குடிக்க போய்விட்டார் போல.

அமலா பால் வந்து போகிறார். வெறும் காந்தக்கண்களை வைத்து ஓட்டிவிடலாம் என்று நினைக்கிறார் போல அம்மனி. அந்த பாரதிராஜா காலம் மலையேறிவிட்டது என்பதை புரிந்து நடிப்பிலும் கொஞ்சம் கவனம் செலுத்தலாமே. முதலில் குழந்தையை கொஞ்சி மனதில் இடம் பிடிப்பது, குழந்தை யார் என்று தெரிந்து தன் பண்பை மாற்றுவதும், மனிதனின் இயல்பை வெளிக்கொணர்ந்துள்ளார்.

ஆஹா ஓஹோ என்று சொல்லும் அளவிற்கு பாடல்கள் இல்லையெனினும், பின்னனி இசையை பட ஓட்டத்தில் நன்றாக ஒட்டவைத்துள்ளார் ஜி.வி.பிரகாஷ். முதல் பாடல் பழைய பாடலின் பிரதி (என் நண்பன் கூறியது). நீரவ் ஷாவின் புகைப்படக்கருவி பாயை சுருட்டி விரிப்பதைப்போல் ஊட்டியின் புற அழகை பிடித்து நம் முன்னே கொட்டிவிடுகிறது.

சந்தானம் சிரிப்புக் காட்சிகள் அசிங்கம் இல்லாமல் இருக்கிறது. அதுவே பெரிய முன்னேற்றம்தான். சிரிப்புக் காட்சிகளுக்கு முதல் மூலதனம் ‘துல்லியமான, துரிதமான நேரம்’. இதை இன்னும் கொஞ்சம் கூட்டவேண்டும். காட்சிகளில் ஒரு 2/3 வினாடி தாமதமாக வருவதை தவிர்க்கவேண்டும். பழைய நாகேஷ் படத்தை பார்த்து ‘துரித நேரத்தை’ அவர் எப்படி அனாசயமாக கையாண்டார் என்று சந்தானம் கற்றுக்கொள்ளலாமே.

குழந்தை சாராவின் அற்புதமான நடிப்பு நம்மை ஈர்க்கிறது. சாதாரணமாக அப்பாவின் மேல் பெண் குழந்தைகளுக்கும், அம்மாவின் மேல் ஆண்குழந்தைகளுக்கும் நல்ல பாசம் இருக்கும், தன் அப்பா அசாதாரணமான செயல்பாட்டை உடையவர் என்று தெரிந்தும், அவர் மேல் ஒரு அபரிதமான அன்பை பொழிவதும், விளையாடிவிட்டு அப்பா தூங்கும்போது அவருக்கு முத்தம் கொடுப்பதும், நிலாவை பார்த்து அப்பாவிடம் பேசுவதும், அமலாவிடம் “நீ அப்பா கூட இருக்கலாம், நான் இருக்கக்கூடாதா”? என்று வினவும்போதும், நீதிமன்றத்தில் சைகையில் அப்பாவிடம் கோவித்துக்கொள்ளுவதும் – நடிக்கவைத்த இயக்குனரையும் சேர்த்து பாராட்டத்தோன்றுகிறது.

எனக்கு பிடித்த பாலசந்தர் சினிமாக்கள் எல்லாம் 60,70களில் தான். 80ல் கொஞ்சம் தேறும். ஆனால் அதற்கு பிறகு ஒன்றும் சரியில்லை.

நான் படித்த முக்கியமான புத்தகங்களில் ஒன்று அட்லஸ் ஷ்ரக்ட் (Atlas Shrugged). அதன் தாக்கம் இன்னும் என் மேல் இருக்கிறது.

எதேச்சையாக போன வெள்ளிக்கிழமை திரைப்படம் ரிலீஸ் ஆகிறது என்று தெரிந்தது. போகலாம் என்று முடிவு செய்தேன். இந்த தளத்தின் சக ஆசிரியரான பக்சும் வந்தான். தியேட்டருக்குள் நுழைந்தால் எங்களையும் சேர்த்து நான்கு பேர்தான் இருந்தோம்.

படத்தின் தரம் அப்படி. ஏறக்குறைய புத்தகத்தில் உள்ளபடிதான் எடுத்திருக்கிறார்கள். ஆனால் நடிப்பு எல்லாம் படு சுமார். அதுவும் ஹாங்க் ரியர்டனாக நடிக்கும் கிரான்ட் பௌலர் மரம் மாதிரி நிற்கிறார். எல்லிஸ் வ்யாட்டாக வரும் கிரஹாம் பெக்கல் மட்டுமே நன்றாக நடித்திருக்கிறார்.

கதையின் முதல் பாகம் மட்டுமே இப்போது திரைப்படமாக வந்திருக்கிறது. திறமைசாலி தொழிலதிபர்கள் எல்லாரும் மெதுமெதுவாக மறைந்து போய்க்கொண்டிருக்கிறார்கள். ரயில் கம்பெனி நடத்தும் டாக்னி டாகர்ட் தன்னுடைய அண்ணன் மற்றும் கம்பெனி CEO ஆன ஜிம் டாகர்ட் உட்பட்ட பலரிடமிருந்து முட்டுக்கட்டைகளை சந்திக்கிறாள். ஜிம் லஞ்சம் கிஞ்சம் கொடுத்து காரியத்தை சாதிக்கும் டைப். டாக்னியோ உழைத்து சம்பாதிக்க வேண்டும் என்று என்னும் டைப். எல்லிஸ் வாட் என்ற பெட்ரோலிய கம்பெனி முதலாளி தான் உற்பத்தி செய்யும் பெட்ரோலை ஏற்றிச் செல்லும் ரயில் கம்பெனியை ஜிம் தன் அரசியல் நண்பர்களை வைத்து மூடிவிடுகிறான். வ்யாட்டுக்கு டாகர்ட் ரயில் கம்பெனியைத்தான் பயன்படுத்த வேண்டும் என்ற நிலை. ஆனால் டாகர்ட் ரயில் கம்பெனி ரயில்களை சரியாக ஓட்டுவதில்லை. தண்டவாளத்தின் தரம் மோசமாக இருப்பதால் ரயில்கள் நேரத்தில் வருவதில்லை, விபத்துகள் ஏற்படுகின்றன. டாக்னி புதிதாக கண்டுபிடிக்கப்பட்டிருக்கும் ரியர்டன் உலோகத்தை வைத்து தண்டவாளத்தைப் போடுகிறாள். ரியர்டன் உலோகக் கம்பெனி முதலாளி ஹாங்க் ரியர்டன் அவளுக்கு பல உதவிகளை செய்கிறார். அவர்களுக்கு எதிராக ஊடகங்கள், அரசு ஆராய்ச்சி நிறுவனம், பலரும் வேலை செய்கிறனர். எல்லா எதிர்ப்புகளையும் மீறி தண்டவாளம் போடப்படுகிறது, ரியர்டன் உலோகம் உண்மையிலேயே ஒரு அதிசயக் கண்டுபிடிப்பு என்று உலகம் உணர்கிறது. ஆனால் வியாட் இனி மேல் கம்பெனி நடத்த முடியாத சூழ்நிலையை அரசு ஏற்படுத்துகிறது. வியாட் தன் பெட்ரோல் கிணறுகளில் தீ வைத்துவிட்டு மறைந்து போய்விடுகிறார்.

இந்த மாதிரி பிரச்சாரக் கதைகளை படமாக்குவதும் கஷ்டம். இது கம்யூனிசத்தை எதிர்த்து காபிடலிசத்தின் புகழ் பாடும் கதை. கதையின் ஒரு பகுதியில் ஐம்பது அறுபது பக்கங்களுக்கு ஒரு சொற்பொழிவு வரும். இதையெல்லாம் படத்தில் வைத்தால் ஒருவரும் வரமாட்டார்கள்.

டெய்லர் ஷில்லிங் டாக்னியாகவும், மாத்யூ மார்ஸ்டன் ஜிம் டாகர்ட்டாகவும், சு கார்சியா ஃ பிரான்சிஸ்கோ டன்கோனியாவாகவும், கிரான்ட் பௌலர் ஹாங்க் ரியர்டனாகவும், கிரஹாம் பெக்கல் எல்லிஸ் வ்யாட்டாகவும் நடித்திருக்கிறார்கள். இயக்கம் பால் ஜொஹான்சன்.

படம் தீவிர அட்லஸ் ஷ்ரக்ட் புத்தக ரசிகர்களுக்கு மட்டும்தான். திரைப்படம் என்ற வகையில் தோல்வியே.

தியேட்டரை விட்டுப் போகும்போது மீண்டும் எண்ணிப் பார்த்தேன். பத்து பேர் இருந்தோம். முதல் நாளே, அதுவும் வெள்ளி இரவு அன்றே இப்படி நிலைமை என்றால் படம் ஓடாது!

சுஜாதா எனக்குப் பிடித்த நடிகைகளில் ஒருவர். நடிக்கவும் தெரியும், பார்க்க லட்சணமாகவும் இருப்பார். 58 வயதில் அவர் மறைந்தது அதிர்ச்சியைத் தருகிறது. அவருடைய குடும்பத்தினருக்கு என் condolences .

குமுதத்தில் “சுஜாதாவின் கதை” என்ற தொடரிலிருந்து:

“சுஜாதாவின் நாவல்களில் முதலில் படமாகியது காயத்ரி. பஞ்சுஅருணாசலம்தான் அந்தப் படத்தைத் தயாரித்தார்.

“தினமணி கதிரில் `காயத்ரி’ தொடராய் வரும்போதே அதை திரைப்படமா எடுக்கணும்னு நினைச்சேன். தொடர் முடிஞ்சதும் சுஜாதாவைபாம்குரோவ் ஓட்டல் ரூம்ல சந்திச்சேன். ரொம்ப எளிமையா பழகுனார். பெரிய எழுத்தாளர்களுக்கு இருக்கும் பந்தா எதுவும் இல்ல. எல்லாத்தையும் ரொம்ப ஆர்வமா கேட்டுட்டார். அப்போ அவருக்கு சினிமா ரொம்பப் புதுசு. அவரோட ஆர்வம் என்னை ரொம்ப கவர்ந்தது” என்று, தான் முதலில் சுஜாதாவைச் சந்தித்தது பற்றிச் சொல்கிறார் பஞ்சு அருணாசலம்.

“படம் வெளில வந்தபிறகு அந்தப் படத்தில் அவருக்கு அத்தனை திருப்தியில்லை. சினிமா திரைக்கதைக்காக சிலவற்றை மாற்றியிருந்தோம். அதைச் சொன்னதும் புரிஞ்சுக்கிட்டார். கதையாய் எழுதுவது வேறு. அதை சினிமாவுக்காக மாற்றுவது வேறு என்பதை உணர்ந்துகொண்டார்” என்கிறார் பஞ்சு அருணாசலம்.

சுஜாதாவும் `காயத்ரி’ கதைக்கு சினிமாவில் நடந்த சேதாரங்களைப் பற்றி பல இடங்களில் குறிப்பிட்டிருக்கிறார். ஆனால் அந்த முதல் பட அனுபவத்திலேயே சினிமாவின் சூட்சுமங்கள் அவருக்கு பிடிபட்டுவிட்டது.

“எழுதப்பட்ட கதை சினிமாவாக மாறும்போது எப்படியெல்லாம் வேஷம் மாறும் என்பதை எனக்கு முதலில் உணர்த்திய அனுபவம் அது. ஒரு வகையில் `ப்ரியா’ போன்ற பெரிய அதிர்ச்சிகளுக்கு என்னை தயார்படுத்தியது” என்று சமீபத்தில் குமுதத்தில் எழுதிய கட்டுரை ஒன்றில் குறிப்பிடுகிறார் சுஜாதா.

முனுசாமி – மாணிக்கம்

மாணி: ஏண்ணே! நீ ‘உத்தமபுத்திரன்‘ பார்த்துட்டியா?

முனு: இல்லியே! நீ பார்த்துட்டியா? கதை என்ன?

மாணி: ஒரு ராணிக்குக் குழந்தை பிறக்குது. இது ராணியின் தம்பி நாகநாதனுக்குப் பிடிக்கலே. குழந்தையைக் கொல்ல ஏற்பாடு பண்றான். ராணிக்கு உடனே இரண்டாவதா, ஒரு குழந்தை பிறக்குது.

முனு: சரிதான். கொல்லச் சொன்ன அந்தக் குழந்தை என்ன ஆவுது?

மாணி: வழக்கம் போல அந்தக் கையாளு அந்தக் குழந்தையைக் கொல்லலே! ரகசியமா தன் பெண்சாதிகிட்ட கொடுத்து வேற இடத்துக்கு அனுப்பிடறான். ராஜா வீட்டுக் குழந்தை குடிசைலே நல்லவனா வளருது. அரண்மனையிலே இருக்கிற குழந்தையை சேனாதிபதி நாகநாதன் குடிகாரனா வளக்கறாரு; அக்கிரம ஆட்சி நடத்தறாரு.

முனு: சரி, நடிப்பைப் பற்றிச் சொல்லு!

மாணி: குடிசையில வளர்ற சிவாஜி கணேசன், குடிகாரனா வளர்ற சிவாஜிகணேசன்… ஆளு ஒண்ணுன்னாலும் வேஷம் இரண்டில்லே? ஒருத்தரை ஒருத்தர் மிஞ்சிடறாங்க! ரெண்டு வேஷம் என்ன அண்ணே, 20 வேஷம் குடுத்தா லும் தத்ரூபமா நடிப்பாரு அவரு!

முனு: சரி; ஹீரோயின் எப்படி?

மாணி: பத்மினியாச்சே, கேக்கணுமா? மேக்கப் அள்ளுது; நடை, உடை, ஜடை மூணும் துள்ளுது; நடிப்பு வெல்லுது! ஆஹா! ஒரு சீன்லே நீளமா சடை போட்டு பூ வச்சுப் பின்னிக்கிட்டு வருது பாரு!

முனு: நம்பியாருக்கு என்ன வேஷம்?

மாணி: அவர்தான் ராணியின் தம்பி. வழக்கம் போல அமர்க்களப்படுத்தியிருக்காரு.

முனு: நம்பியார் வராரு இல்லே! அப்ப, கத்திச்சண்டை இருக்குமே?

மாணி: அது மட்டும் இல்லே! இரண்டு சிவாஜிகளுக்குள்ளேயே சண்டை நடக்குது!

முனு: காட்சி ஜோடனை?

மாணி: இயற்கைக் காட்சிகள் பிரமாதம்! மைசூர் பிருந்தாவனத்திலே ஒரு டான்ஸ் எடுத்திருக்காங்க. அற்புதம்! உயரமான கோட்டைச் சுவரிலேருந்து குதிரை மேல குதிக்கிறாரு சிவாஜி! நம்பவே முடியலே அண்ணே!

முனு: குதிரை தாங்குதா இல்லையா? அப்புறம் நீ ஏன் கவலைப்படறே? சரி, படம் எப்படி?

மாணி: ஒரு சில குறைங்க இருந் தாலும், நிச்சயமா இது ஒரு நல்ல படம் அண்ணே!
